Creating Limited PayPal Account for Support / Contractors

When collaborating with a project, sometimes you would have to share logins like login for your PayPal account. Some of us might be uncomfortable doing it even with the most trusted people on your team.

If you are using a business account for PayPal, you can easily create a limited account (think can edit buttons and stuff but not trasnfer money).

Read the steps below to learn how to create a PayPal user with limited access

Uploading Videos via Dropbox

It is not recommended to upload files greater than a few hundred kilobytes through a browser. Large files can be extremely slow-loading, and often time out (can cause errors in Kajabi).

One way of going around this is by using Dropbox (it could work with similar cloud storage / file hosting services as long as the file would be publicly available).

The idea is to use Kajabi's "Add Media from URL" feature. Instead of you uploading the file via the browser, you upload the file through the dropbox servers via the dropbox client and Kajabi gets the file from there.

Deleting Images on the Asset Bag

Kajabi is currently working on an improved asset bag where you can delete images, however it has not yet been implemented.

Here's a workaround though:

Kajabi already uses an early version of the updated asset bag in the Squeeze Page, you can see it when you upload a squeeze page header.
- Edit any squeeze page
- Under "CHOOSE A CUSTOM HEADER IMAGE" click on "Choose New"
- It will list all images in the asset bag, you can click on the delete button (looks like a trash can) below the image that you want to be removed

Another Kajabi Update

It's another email from the guys at Kajabi:

Hi, it’s Andy Jenkins, Travis Rosser, and Kenny Rueter from Kajabi with another Development update for you.

Beta Launch #3 Complete

In May, John Reese executed and delivered his product “Outsource Force” using the Kajabi platform. Once again, Kajabi delivered another near-flawless performance, opening the way for the start of the official private Kajabi Beta.

Private Kajabi Beta

During Frank Kern and Trey Smith’s “List Control Launch”, Andy Jenkins offered a bonus for those who purchased via his Affiliate Link.  That bonus was exclusive access to the Kajabi Beta Program.  That program kicked off June 1st, and is currently underway. This week, developers will issue administrative credentials to the beta testers, and allow them full access to all of Kajabi’s current beta feature set.

FINAL Launch Beta Test – Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula 3.0

We are very pleased to announce that Jeff Walker, author of Product Launch Formula, will be launching his latest version of Product Launch Formula on the Kajabi platform.
This is a true honor for us, as many of the features of the Launch Module of Kajabi were based in part on Jeff’s marketing concepts and fundamentals.  In many ways, this is one of the ultimate milestones for Kajabi, and we’re excited to not only host Jeff’s launch and coaching fulfillment, but also proudly support Jeff’s launch as an affiliate.

Coincidentally, the initial pre-launch content for this product launch is themed around  “Product Launch Disasters”, and many of the examples that Jeff gives stem from Technological deficiencies that often occur during a launch process — something that Kajabi was designed to overcome.
Good Luck Jeff!

IMPORTANT NEW FEATURE

With the popularity of mobile devices on the rise, the recent Apple/Adobe controversy over Flash, and HTML 5 on the horizon, we have committed to enabling HTML 5 browser detection for the retail release of Kajabi.
That means that users visiting a Kajabi enabled site from a mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad will be delivered an HTML5 version of that Kajabi page, enabling mobile users to experience media hosted on the Kajabi platform.

Time line:

Progress on the platform has increased dramatically, especially since the introduction of the beta testing group.  We have again added additional Human Capital Resources for our final push to retail readiness. While we are reluctant to issue an official date for retail readiness, our current status has us feeling very confident that we’ll be seeing Kajabi available to the public in 6-8 weeks.  We’re confident that we’ll have an official release date for you by the first week in July.

As final beta milestones are met, we’ll update you on our progress.

All the Best,
Kenny Rueter, Travis Rosser, and Andy Jenkins.
