Trouble with Bulk User Import / CSV upload

For those wondering what to do when you bulk upload users in Kajabi, this article might help.

Here's some things you might have encountered
- Preview Shows Blank
- Getting Errors
- No users are created

Important: when using Excel for mac save the file as CSV (Windows).

Make sure to use the correct format

Example:
John,Smith,johnsmith@yahoo.com,1/1/2011
Mary,Baker,marybaker@yahoo.com,
Sarah,Robbins,sarahrobbins@gmail.com,1/2/2011

Using a text editor

You can create the CSV file on a text edtor, you need to make sure you follow the format, putting entries on its own line is important, you need to put the proceeding entry after the next line

First Name [comma] Last Name [comma] Email [comma] join date [proceed to the next line]
First Name [comma] Last Name [comma] Email [comma] join date [proceed to the next line]

Of course you need to change the [comma] to a "," :) I am just emphasizing the importance of the commas and putting separate entries on the next line

Just save it as a CSV file and upload.

Using Microsoft Excel

Make sure that you don't include the title row and save it as CSV (Comma Delimited) when using Windows

when using a mac save it as CSV (Windows).
